We responded to real market problems

The complexity of the communications environment has grown exponentially over the last decade.  Web news and social media have brought an explosion of outlets, while globalization has created a 24/7 news cycle.  As a result, many communications executives feel they have lost significant control.  It’s not a surprise that a recent survey found public relations to be the second most stressful profession today.

PublicRelay saw these changes as they happened, and we designed a system to give communications professionals the power to manage this new environment and regain some control.

It all started with a gem of an idea that became the foundation of our company – make communications teams more effective at working in the intersection of traditional, online, and social media.  Give them tools to take action.  And for once, use this powerful combination of media and technology to put communications professionals into proactive mode – ahead of the issues and trends before they become problems.

Because of our combined 50+ years of experience in media, we were then able to reach out to some of the leading communications practitioners today – including the most senior executives in Fortune 500 companies, associations, government agencies, and public relations firms.  Over 75 interviews later, our listening had generated a set of very real problems, challenges, and frustrations facing these executives and their teams.

And PublicRelay was built to solve these problems.

Our system was developed using the latest in technology tools, sophisticated software algorithms, and an internal development team repeatedly recognized internationally for their powerful, reliable, and robust software.

But we didn't stop there – we thought about our customers.

Making a system that requires virtually NO training and ramp-up time was our goal, so we chose to draw on well-understood user interface concepts from the Web’s leading e-commerce, publishing, and social media sites.  Our customers tell us that we delivered on this promise.  The frustrating training required to use so many of the systems today is a thing of the past with PublicRelay.

Now we’re out there, working with some of the greatest brand names, publicly-traded companies, and agencies in the world.  We're humbly proud of our system, but we’re not done – no resting on our laurels.  We are innovating every day to make communications professionals better, smarter, faster, and  less stressed.  We’re giving them insights and metrics they’ve only dreamed about, and we’re bringing them new solutions daily.

If your PR team wants to be admired by its peers, bragged about by your CEO, and perhaps even feared by your competition, you should be working with PublicRelay.
